Gain your confidence today.

I noticed that most girls who are insecure about themselves, set such low standards FOR themselves in everything: From clothes, to heels, to attitude, to men.

Every woman has the right to take power over whatever has been bringing her down.

Clothes – Wear something that would make you feel special. Stop looking like that same old-self. T-SHIRT AND JEANS . TANK TOP AND SHORTS. BAGGY DRESSES. Go for something more gorgeous this time. There are so many stunning dresses: From petite to plus size.

Heels – Try something different! If you’ve never worn high heels before, now is the time. Heels automatically increase your confidence. It enhances what you wear and of course, makes you taller.

Attitude – I studied this and realized that too many women have low self-esteem. Instead, they should have more respect for themselves.Β

Have some faith in yourself and others will have faith in you.

Fine Retreat

“Next week, I don’t have to teach any classes the whole week. Lets go somewhere!” Those were the exact words my babylove blasted down the hallway. Those words, I never will forget. Just when I thought he was playin’……

There we were, in Phuket for 4 days. Phuket was somewhere we’ve visited together but the reason why he chose that Island again was because the flight had free seats. You can’t say NO to that! So he booked it and gave me another surprise saying “Pack your luggage, we’re hopping on a plane tomorrow!” Brilliant. Could he be more spontaneous than that? I doubt so. πŸ˜€

This time around, we stayed at a different hotel, in front of a much nicer beach and had a totally different atmosphere. Was it better than our previous visit? Hmmm. In many different ways, it was better and worse as well. Overall, it was a fine retreat. πŸ™‚

Avista. It was the perfect hotel.

As usual, you cannot miss out on the room service. πŸ˜‰

One of the best restaurants in Phuket called Le Siam. Delicious food, great service and fantastic atmosphere.

Jellyfish! That night, we went to watch some LadyBoys show at Patong and it wasn’t so bad. They were entertaining! :p

Interesting GlassBeyonce?Pleasure meeting you people! πŸ™‚I loathe this. Children in clubs. It’s sad that they are brought over just because mommy has to go to work. Not sleeping and instead witnessing all of the obscene things happening around them. As much as they don’t deserve that, there are tons of such cases but what right have I got to judge?Β

Baan Rim Pa. To-Die-For restaurant.

We did another interesting thing afterwards since it was our last day. Shoot some real guns! πŸ˜€ Again.Phuket is an interesting gorgeous place!

Where ‘Pho’ is a must try!

Vietnam was interesting, that’s for sure.

Two months ago, my man and I went to Vietnam for a get-together with his friends. It wasn’t as boring as I thought it would be. One of his friend lives there and was nice enough to take us to all the nice places. He also recommended one of the best thing that I can’t seem to stop craving for: Pho! It is one of the many things that Vietnam specializes in. Everywhere you turn, you can find a restaurant with pho. It is pretty darn good. The noodles are super soft and the soup is just oh so tasty. Go ahead, try it! πŸ˜‰

Another thing about Saigon which I only found out while I was there was that bikes fill the streets like nowhere else. Seriously. It’s like you can never miss a turn without going “Oh My God, look at that! So many!” There are tons of motorcycles everywhere on the road. It’s so crazy.

On our third day, we went to do something “adventurous”. In the Cu Chi Tunnels where the Viet Cong were battling it out. It was where I had my first experience firing an M16. Never thought in a thousand years I’d hold a real gun. It felt… weird. Overall, FUN.

Pho Ga! (Chicken)

The Spa we ended at every single day. Le Cochinchine.

Love at first bite

I’ve got the best partner in crime and I feel blessed! My boyfriend and I enjoy eating out and trying different foods. One of our favorite is Japanese. I think they are really creative. Also, you cannot miss their dessert. It’s awesome, nuff said. Japanese food is healthy, so that’s a plus. πŸ™‚

We were at Marina Square and we found the restaurant that he’s been meaning to try. It’s called Azabu Sabo. Located on level #02-170 / 171.

Ice Lemon Tea, Green Tea, Ice Macha & Umaki. Umaki is grilled eel wraped in cooked egg. It was my first time trying that dish and oooh.. Yummy.Β  Tori Karaage (Crispy Chicken w/ Japanese style sauce) Beef Curry With EggYakitori (Skewered Chicken)

Soft Ice Cream with choc sauce, Green Tea Ice cream, Dumplings, Red Bean Paste & Sweet Patatoes Vanilla Ice Cream & Sweet Potato BallsGreen Tea & Vanilla Ice cream

Right after chowing down delicious food, we were game for a foot massage. Yes, spoilt, I know. But pampering yourselves once in awhile doesn’t hurt, does it? πŸ™‚ I highly recommend this excellent place called Kenko.

Super comfortable chairs and fantastic masseuse. A ‘must try’!

Now I’m craving for Japanese dessert. Oh noooooooo. Not good at all.
